D-ASPARTIC ACID (DAA)
D-aspartic acid is an amino acid which, as opposed to all protein building amino acids is in D form and not in L. Naturally, protein amino acids exist in L form but in result of the conversion in the body they can change into D form. DAA has won its popularity as an amino acid influencing the natural production of testosterone and, as such, it is present in anabolic products. In the studies* conducted on a group of men it has been found that consuming 3120 mg of DAA in the morning causes the highest growth rate of testosterone secretion after 12 days of supplementation with this ingredient. Taking the above facts into account it is recommended to consume DAA on a cyclical basis. A 3 day break should be made after 12 days and, afterwards, DAA can be reintroduced into supplementation.

All proteins are comprised of amino acids, and amino acids serve as the building blocks of proteins. Each protein, regardless of its source, is made up of approximately 20 amino acids. Since all proteins are comprised of the same 20 amino acids, how is one protein source different from another? The answer to this question is that the sequence of the amino acids differs from one type of protein to another. In addition, the composition of the amino acids that comprise a given protein is what makes one type of protein different from another. For example, soy does not have as much of the amino acid methionine as some other high-quality proteins, and egg protein has more branched chain amino acids than vegetable proteins.

This segues us nicely into looking at the micro filtered whey isolates. With the array of more recent processing techniques used to make WPI's - or pull out various subfractions - such as Cross Flow Micro filtration (CFM?) ultra filtration (UF), micro filtration (MF), reverse osmosis (RO), dynamic membrane filtration (DMF), ion exchange chromatography, (IEC), electro-ultrafiltration (EU), radial flow chromatography (RFC) and nano filtration (NF), manufacturers can now make some very high grade and unique  whey proteins . Perhaps the most familiar micro filtered isolate to readers, would be CFM?.
