CAS reviewed the ban and increased the length to 18 months, eliminating Johaug from defending her World Cup title and participating in the Pyeongchang Olympic Games in South Korea in 2018. While conceding the situation was “inconsistent with her otherwise clean anti-doping record” , the CAS panel also noted Johaug didn’t review the packaging where the prohibited anabolic steroid was a listed ingredient nor did she acknowledge the doping warning printed in red. FIS had earlier cited Johaug for not reading the warning in red as well as using a medication that was purchased outside of Norway and that she wasn’t familiar with.
Help I have a friend who is a gym goer Im not sure of his quantity or how long he has been taking steroids, but stopped recently because he had really bad neck pain. No dr or scan, ultrasound etc showed anything. Put on huge pain killer amounts didnt help alot but felt after about six weeks some relief. Until today when he thinks a prior knee issue has flared up. If this a result of steroid abuse how long before it heals? Im pretty sure he wont touch them again. He can handle all over aches and pains but these last two injuries have had him off work.
